GDT for Forever Friends

There is a new fortnightly challenge starting today over at Forever Friends with a theme of Ribbon and/or lace and as one of their sponsors for this challenge is Pink Gem Designs some of the DT of A Gem of a Challenge were asked to be GDT.

This was made using a digi pre coloured image from Pink Gem and the backing paper if also a digi download.

A Gem of a Challenge - Holidays

Our new challenge that starts today at A Gem of a Challenge is Holidays, now that can be Easter, Christmas, Summer etc.  For my card I have chosen Easter, but as we have sunshine and clear blue sky today I am thinking more towards a summer holiday!

I have used one of the gorgeous new digi images from Pink Gem, this one is Chloe with daffodils and I have used Spectrum Noir and Promarkers for colouring.  The backing paper is from Spring Drop pad.

The winner of our challenge will win two single digi images of their choice from the Pink Gem website.

Show Us Your Frillies!

Sweet Stampin' challenge this week is called Show Us Your Frillies! So we want to see, frilly dresses, paper frills, or lacy frills.

Don't you just love this little girl, she is one of the LOTV stamped images, coloured with a mixture of Promarkers and Spectrum Noir pens, don't think she is happy wearing that frilly skirt!  I have also added a frilly lace and ribbon border.

Winter Wonderland - Vintage

It certainly is a Winter Wonderland out there this morning! We have had lots of snow overnight and more forecast, hope it doesn't hang around too long.

Our challenge for this week at Winter Wonderland is Vintage, this doesn't have to be Christmas so I have chosen to do a man's card. I am not really into vintage but when I saw this free stamp that was with this quarters Creativity magazine, thought it would fit the bill.

When I bought the magazine I also bought this docrafts embossing folder, and blended some distress inks.

Christmas at Sweet Stampin'

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Our first challenge of 2013 has started over on Sweet Stampin' and our theme this week being White plus one other.

I have chosen to use black and white with a stamped sentiment as the focal point.  I have embossed the background and added diecut leaves and punched flowers.

Winter Wonderland - Travel

Our first challenge of 2013 starts today over at Winter Wonderland and our theme this week is TRAVEL.  For the first few weeks of the year your entries don't have to be Christmas, as I am sure lots of you have had enough of Christmas cards for the time being.
