I am hoping to be a better blogger this year! And as I have had some Spectrum Noir pens and pencils for Christmas, I have been having a play.

I have used the Sugar Nellie digi image - A Little bit of Gossip and coloured with the pens and pencils.  The backing paper is a magazine freebie and added the die cut fence and flowers.

Made a Start ..

On my Christmas cards. I recently bought the Pollyanna Pickering's DVD rom and I am loving the images on there. And this is part of the first batch of cards.

Back after a bit of a break

I have had quite a break from blogging, I have been getting used to a new computer and Windows 8 and have also been playing with Serif software and getting used to that.  Also my hubby bought me the Silhouette  Cameo as an early birthday present and I have been having fun playing with that, and I love it.

So for my card base I used the Cameo and the Bestie image is coloured with Spectrum Noir - first colouring I have done in ages.

Spring is in the Air!

Another beautiful day, bet it doesn't last over Easter.

Well, I have my new computer and I love it, except that I have had to get another photo editing program  and that has been a bit of a nightmare! Haven't worked out how to add my watermark!

I have bought a couple of new digi images from Pink Gem, and this one is called Poppy in Sneakers, coloured with Spectrum Noir and added die flowers etc.

Mojo is making a comeback

It has been a long time since I have made any cards.  I have been doing a bit of sewing and attempting jewellery making.  But now starting to get back into card making.  This is a card I made recently for a little girl's first birthday.

I have used a Wee Digi image called Mary, and coloured with Spectrum Noir and the backing paper is from the BeBunni cd rom from Crafter's Companion.

I am hoping to get a new computer this week end which will make things easier, this one is so old and slow it takes ages just to do one post.

What a dreary, dark day, so difficult to get a decent photo.  Not that I am the best of photographers on the best of days!

I have used a Saturated Canary image today called Kisses, coloured with Spectrum Noir.  The backing paper is from an old Papermania pad.

My New Hobby

This is my first attempt at jewellery making.  I bought myself some beads, wire and a gizmo and created this necklace and earrings.  I have also booked to go to a class in February so should be able to improve after that.

New Baby Card

Here we are almost half way through January, how fast the time goes, and we have another lovely sunny day.

For my card today I have used one of the Bebunni stamps from Crafter's Companion.

I have coloured with Spectrum Noir, the backing paper is from a Stampin' Up pad, the sentiment also comes with the stamp set.

Christmas is coming !!!

I thought it would be a good idea to keep up with my Christmas card making to save a rush at the end of the year.  This is my first one for 2014.

This is James the bear from LOTV, coloured with Promarkers.  I have embossed the background with a 6x6 holly folder from Crafter's Companion, then added die cut flowers and leaves.  The sentiment is also from LOTV.

Happy New Year to all. I hope my life is going to be more settled this year and I will be able to get more craft time.

For my card today I have used a digi image from Aurora Wings, there are some beautiful images in her shop.  This one is called Girl with Pansies.

I have used Spectrum Noir for colouring, the background paper was printed from a Joanna Sheen cd.
