Crafting From The Heart

What a wet weekend!! Hope our summer soon returns.

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Crafting from the Heart.  As always our challenge is Anything Goes.  We have two sponsors this week, one being Bugaboo and the team got to choose an image to use.

For my card I have used Block Sentiments - Humming Bird available here.  I knew I had some backing paper on one of Joanna Sheen's CD that was similar so I have used that and coloured the images with Spectrum Noir and added a touch of glitter to the flowers.

Red, White and Blue

My card today is another for Christmas.  We had a lot of rain today so spent most of the morning crafting.

I have used this cute digi image from Pink Gem called Snow Hugs, coloured with Spectrum Noir and added glitter. The background is a round the page punch from Martha Stewart. Also added die cut snowflakes and trees, and computer generated sentiment.

Christmas Cards All Year Round

It has been quite a while since I was part of a design team as some of life's events got in the way and I had to step down from the ones I was part of.  Now life is much more settled and I have been asked to join the design team of Christmas Cards All Year Round and was very pleased to accept.

We have a new challenge starting today and the theme is dots and stripes and I hope you will come and join us and make a start on those Christmas cards. Here is my first DT card.

I have used the Pollyanna Pickering's Snow and Ice DVD Rom for this. Just love all the images.

This a scheduled post as I shall be on my way to Wimbledon, so excited about it as I have never been and thank you to our eldest son who has given us centre court tickets.
