A Gem of a Challenge #78

I am so late in posting my DT card, don't know where the time has gone since coming back from our holiday. We had a lovely week, despite some rough weather and it was wonderful to see my dear friend Dora, we even managed a visit to a craft shop!

Anyway, onto our new challenge at A Gem of a Challenge and this week  our theme is Make it Sentimental.  So we would like to see a sentiment as the focal point, no image, just a sentiment.

The prize for the winner of the challenge will receive 2 individual digi images for the Pink Gem website.

The sentiment and the backing papers are digi downloads from Pink Gem Designs and I have just used distressed ink round the edges and added a few die cuts and gems.

This is a scheduled post as I am on holiday this week in Malta. We have a picture inspiration challenge for you this week at Winter Wonderland.

For my card I have taken the red candle as inspiration as you can see from the image on my card.

I have embossed the background with a mask and coloured the image with Spectrum Noir and added glitter to the snow.

And our theme this week is Animals so for my card I have used one of the coloured images that are available for download from Pink Gem.

This is Owl in Hat available from Here.  For the background I have embossed using a mask and then inked with distress inks.
